Silk Invest Limited and Qbera Capital LLP are pleased to announce their partnership to further develop their investment and advisory platforms. The new partnership will allow both firms to expand their investment offering in Frontier and Emerging Markets and fully leverage their existing teams and products. One of the key focus areas of the partnership is to scale up Qbera’s private credit ESG Trade Finance Fund which provides capital for small and medium sized companies in the real economy value chain that are in critical need of financial resources to grow their businesses.

Silk Invest was founded in 2008 in London by an experienced team of investment professionals with proven expertise in investing in frontier and emerging markets. Its team is built on local market experts, representing many key Frontier Markets and operates from offices in London, the US, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Pakistan and Nigeria. The company has a strong focus on impact investing and has been a signatory to the UN Principles of Responsible Investing since 2011. The firm among others manages African focused private equity investments and frontier markets public markets equities.

Qbera Capital LLP is an independent advisory and asset management firm, facilitating and providing debt and equity solutions for real economy assets and companies. Qbera specialises in energy (including renewables), metals, agriculture, and FMCG sectors. Its core client base is composed of participants across the entire value chain, from producers to end users.
